Karratha Kats have continued their undefeated run this T20 cricket season with a win over Dampier Taverners in round 4.

Despite playing away at Dampier’s Windy Ridge Oval, the Kats dominated, racking up 5-185 to the Taverners’ 123 all out.

Batsmen Brayden Lee (65), Brett Pilling (46) and Corey Rutgers (36) were the stand-outs, while Taverners’ runs mostly came from Adrian D’Cunha (55) and Andrew Lee (32).

Peg’s Creek Crabs defeated Rec Club to stay on track for a shot at the final.

Rec Club’s batters managed to just hang in with nine men out in 20 overs and chalked up 70 runs in the process.

But Peg’s Creek stepped up and their three batsmen seemed little troubled on their way to scoring 1-72.

At the Leisureplex Oval on Saturday, Baynton Lions defeated Wickham, 2-110 to 109 all out.

It was a team effort from the Lions with all four of their batsmen racking up run tallies in the double digits.

Wickham’s batters were all out in 19.2 overs, with Shane Edwards (25), Steven Yalden (21) and Craig Nunn (36) making the biggest contributions.
