Close races mark a thrilling sea­son end

The fi­nal race meet for 2016 was held at the Kar­ratha Kart Club on Satur­day night and saw close rac­ing across all classes.

The Pro Cadets were ex­cit­ing to watch, with plenty of over­tak­ing through­out the night.

Donny Davis was in a class of his own, tak­ing the win for the night with brothers Con­nor and Ri­ley Grey com­ing home sec­ond and third.

The TaG 125 class was close through­out with three dif­fer­ent win­ners across the four races.

Hard-charg­ing Steve Kasemets made up three places in the fi­nal race to se­cure third over­all with Adam Sin­clair tak­ing hon­ours from sec­ond placed Nick Duffield.

The North West Light and Heavy se­nior classes ran to­gether, al­low­ing the mostly P-plater field to hone their skills.

Ri­ley Board­man dom­i­nated the lights and Trevor Shana­han took out the heav­ies.
