Residents across regional Western Australia can now view every Royalties for Regions-supported project in their community through a new online application.

Powered by Landgate, the app maps out and displays information about the 4700 projects being delivered by the Royalties for Regions program and can be used to explore projects by category, name and location.

North West Central MLA Vince Catania said the app gave regional communities the opportunity to see planned and completed projects and he encouraged people to use the new technology.

“Royalties for Regions is transforming regional communities, and underpins the State Government’s long-term commitment to regional development, with more than $6.9 billion invested across the State since 2008,” he said.

“Royalties for Regions continues to build more vibrant and sustainable regional communities through investment into infrastructure, health, communications and tourism.”

The app is available on smartphone, tablet or computer at rfrmap.drd.wa.gov.au.
