Charity dinner a success
More than $4000 was raised for the Cancer Council at the sellout Paraburdoo Pink Ribbon Dinner on October 29.
Ninety guests were treated to pink champagne, delicious food and live entertainment.
Nintirri women’s health nurse Stacey Robinson and local cancer survivor Brooke Turner were guest speakers on the night.
There was also a decorate a bra competition which had almost 40 entries.
Event organiser Anna Oakley said 32 volunteers and sponsors helped ensure the dinner was a success.
“A fantastic night was had by all of the ladies who attended,” she said. “We’ve had wonderful feedback.”
A Pink Ribbon cake stall the previous weekend raised more than $1000.
