Re­sort ush­ers in new era with brand change

Af­ter 10 years with the Ac­corHo­tels Group, the own­ers of Novo­tel Nin­ga­loo Re­sort have re­branded to be­come Man­tarays Nin­ga­loo Beach Re­sort.

The lux­ury four-and-a-half star Ex­mouth ac­com­mo­da­tion will no longer op­er­ate un­der the Novo­tel brand.

Man­tarays Nin­ga­loo Beach Re­sort gen­eral man­ager Dar­ren Cos­sill said he looked for­ward to align­ing the re­branded re­sort with the at­trac­tions of the lo­cal area.

“Nin­ga­loo has be­come an in­ter­na­tional tourist des­ti­na­tion and Man­tarays is a very es­tab­lished world-class re­sort ready to com­ple­ment fu­ture growth,” he said.

“The World Her­itage sta­tus has given Nin­ga­loo an in­ter­na­tional pro­file and with swim­ming with the whale sharks (be­ing) a bucket list ad­ven­ture, we are proud to be part of an iconic ex­pe­ri­ence.”

Mr Cos­sill said al­though the re­la­tion­ship with Ac­corHo­tels has been ben­e­fi­cial over the past decade, it was right for the re­sort to move on.

“The Ac­corHo­tels re­la­tion­ship has been a suc­cess for both par­ties and the brand helped es­tab­lish the re­sort as the pre­mier ac­com­mo­da­tion lo­cated in the Nin­ga­loo and the Gas­coyne,” he said.

“We now see this as the right move at a time of growth for Nin­ga­loo and the rise in in­ter­na­tional tourism.”

Ac­corHo­tels is a multi­na­tional French-owned ho­tel group that op­er­ates and fran­chises 3700 ho­tels world­wide, in­clud­ing the Novo­tel chain.
