Police probe crash
A man has been charged over a vehicle crash that damaged the entrance of an Onslow caravan park.
Police believe a car collided into the fence around Onslow Ocean View Caravan Park in the early hours of January 13, knocking over the park sign and part of the fence.
Onslow police acting officer-in-charge Senior Constable Matt Dwyer said witnesses had heard a vehicle speeding up and down Second Avenue moments before the crash.
The 43-year-old male owner of the vehicle has been charged with failing to give information identifying the driver or person in charge of the vehicle under the Road Traffic Act.
Police do not yet know who was driving as the driver fled the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
