City seeks advisory group members
The City of Karratha is calling for members for a new Small Business Advisory Group that will provide strategic advice to the council on how the small business community can grow and prosper.
The group’s work will include involving the local business community in work being undertaken by the City to identify opportunities for growth in the small business sector.
The group will also help align the City’s efforts on small business development support with the priorities of the sector.
Those who wish to be involved should have a demonstrated commitment to the advancement of the business environment in the City, an ability to engage with the business community, and a commitment to participate fully in group activities.
Interested community members from across Karratha, Dampier, Roebourne, Wickham and Point Samson are encouraged to apply at karratha.wa.gov.au/ economic-development.
The group will meet on the second Monday of every month and each member’s term will be one year in length.
