Sex case adjourned
Dressed in a black suit with his grey hair neatly combed, the elderly man accused of sexually abusing a young girl in Tom Price more than three decades ago appeared calm during his third court appearance on Friday.
Eric Vincent Millard, 73, said nothing but clasped his hands together as he took to the stand at Perth Magistrate’s Court on January 27.
His case was adjourned until April 21 and his bail extended at the request of his lawyer. Mr Millard, who lives in Perth, was arrested in September.
It is alleged he had assaulted the young girl 24 times between 1979 and 1986.
In November, he pleaded not guilty to 24 counts of indecent dealings with a child under the age of 14.
