A WA health body is calling for expressions of interest to make mental health services in the Pilbara and Kimberley more accessible.

The Country WA Primary Health Network is aiming to boost local services for common, “lower-intensity” mental health conditions, including depression and anxiety in regional WA.

Country WA PHN general manager Linda Richardson said they were seeking community leadership to improve regional mental health services and make them more accessible to hardto-reach groups such as Aboriginal people, young people and the elderly. Submissions close on February 28 at 5pm. For more information or to make a submission, go to wapha.org.au.
