Leadership workshop returns

Pilbara News - - Lifestyle -

A two-day masterclass to help Pilbara women develop leadership skills that play to their individual strengths will return for a second year in March.

Local female business coaches Kylah Morrison and Violet Dhu have again teamed up to deliver a tailored workshop to help women hone their leadership abilities in a supportive small group environment.

The masterclass will focus on developing self-awareness, emotional intelligence, career goals, strengths-based leadership, difficult communication and getting the most out of working in teams.

Ms Morrison said she and Ms Dhu had decided to make the masterclass an annual event after the success of last year’s offering.

“The response we got from the women attending last year, they absolutely loved it, and to see the growth in them over the course of the program was awesome,” she said.

Ms Morrison said the second class would also begin an alumni network of local women who could connect and support each other to reach their career goals.

The Pilbara Women in Leadership Masterclass will run over two days on March 16 and 17 at Karratha Ibis Styles Hotel.
