SAFE NEEDS HELP FROM THE COMMUNITY
Would you like to temporarily foster a pet in your home — for a week, several months or even just occasionally on a weekend?
SAFE is in need of more people to open their homes to fostering animals that can be rehomed.
It is now 14 years since SAFE’s inception in Karratha and we have found homes for more than 14,000 pets from our 10 branches across the State.
Of course, we’ve only been able to do this with the support of the community.
Right now we have many healthy pets in need of a foster home.
This is how it works: five-month-old smoochy snuggler Morley is available for adoption.
Morley is being cared for in a local home while waiting for someone to fall in love and adopt him.
So instead of being in a cage, he gets to experience love, is happy, well socialised and is already prepared for life in a normal household — all while bringing joy and fun to his foster home. It’s a win-win situation. SAFE looks at the bigger picture of animal welfare too, so all of our kittens and puppies are up to date with vaccination and come with a desexing and microchipping vet voucher.
If fostering is something you’re considering, you can even speak with some of our existing carers to hear their experience of fostering for SAFE.
Help us to save more pets like Morley.
