Spirits soar on Eagles night
The West Coast Eagles hosted a sportspersons’ night last Thursday at the Karratha Leisureplex as part of their Community Camp program.
Several players including Adam Selwood and Mark Nicoski and WCE schools and community program co-ordinator Kim Hannah took part in a panel discussion with new Dampier Sharks coach and former Brisbane Lions player Beau McDonald.
The men discussed all things footy, including the upcoming season and who they barracked for growing up, and answered questions from the crowd.
There was also a silent auction, in which attendees had the chance to pick up West Coast memorabilia.
All funds raised during the night went to the junior and senior Pilbara football leagues.
Locals joined several West Coast Eagles players for the sports persons night fundraiser.
