Boutique business networking opportunity
Karratha Collective Connect event, Friday, March 17, empire 6714, 6.30pm, tickets $30. Visit karrathacollective.com.
Local boutique business people are invited to the Karratha Collective Connect event on Friday, March 17.
Karratha Collective business partner Cassie Inkster said the event, hosted by the team at Empire 6714, was a wonderful opportunity for like-minded boutique business people to meet, chat and feel part of the community.
“Running your own business can mean it’s just you all day, every day,” she said. “Catching up with other similarly engaged people can help to inspire that feeling of community and breed lovely collaborations.
“All are welcome; you don’t have to be a member of Karratha Collective.”
Tickets are $30 a person and includes canapes, wine and juice.
Karratha Collective started 2015 after founders Ms Inkster and Kate Cranston identified difficulties in finding information on micro-business and boutique services available in the Karratha community.
The collective is an online directory and marketplace for local small and boutique businesses.
“In addition to that, we work to promote and encourage those small businesses through social media, events and collaborations,” Ms Inkster said.
