Crispy Asian salad

Prepa­ra­tion: 15 min­utes Cook­ing: 5 min­utes Serves: 4 In­gre­di­ents 4 rash­ers ba­con 1⁄2 Chi­nese cab­bage, shred­ded finely 1⁄2 packet sun­flower seeds 1⁄2 packet al­monds, blanched and toasted 5 spring onions, chopped 4 cel­ery sticks, chopped 1⁄2 packet crispy fried noo­dles

Dress­ing:

1⁄2 cup olive oil 1⁄4 cup white vine­gar 1⁄4 cup brown su­gar 1 tsp soy sauce

Method

Grill ba­con. Cut into small strips. Place all salad in­gre­di­ents ex­cept noo­dles in a serv­ing bowl. Toss to com­bine. To make dress­ing, place in­gre­di­ents into a jar with lid. Shake well. Pour dress­ing over salad and sprin­kle with noo­dles just be­fore serv­ing.
