Diane Bartlett shot this iron ore train rolling towards port and submitted it with no editing. Ms Bartlett said after two years she had found the perfect place to get shots of the trains. “The thing that surprises me and I don't understand is that when they are coming towards you you hear them and feel the rumble under your feet, but the minute they have passed you the sound goes, the rumble goes there's not even a muffled sound in the distance,” she said. “Straight away everything is gone, you just get the sound of the breeze in your ears and then that Pilbara silence. Ms Bartlett said she would love the opportunity to go for a ride in one of the trains before leaving the Pilbara.
