Group fight charges
A group fight involving about 100 people in Roebourne last Sunday afternoon has resulted in seven people being charged.
Roebourne police were forced to call in extra resources to break up the large fight, believed to be the result of feuding, which erupted about 12.30pm on Lockyer Way in Roebourne.
It is believed no one was significantly injured.
Six people have been charged with disorderly behaviour in public and another person is facing charges of possessing a weapon.
Roebourne police officer-in-charge Senior Sergeant Gemma Hennigan said fights of this size broke out occasionally in town and it was disappointing to see it happen again.
She said police would not tolerate the behaviour.
