While some older adults might think adapting to the latest technology is unnecessary, there are many benefits to becoming tech savvy.

Learning about social media platforms can help people keep in touch with long-distance friends and family, while knowing how to use personal devices properly strengthens confidence and independence.

Karratha Library is hosting a free Adults Tech Help session today from 9.30am to 10.30am.

A staff member from the Karratha Telstra Shop will be on hand to give tips, advice and help to those who are not quite up to scratch when it comes to technology.

Participants are encouraged to bring along their own tablet or smartphone and know their log-in and password to the device in order to maximise the benefits from this session.

For more information and to secure a seat, phone 9186 8660 or email karratha.library@karratha.wa.gov.au.
