Stakes high for young fash­ion­istas

The first of­fi­cial Kids Fash­ion on the Field was a huge suc­cess with more than 50 sharply dressed girls and boys steal­ing the spot­light from the adults at Nor-West Jockey Club’s Kar­ratha Signs Fam­ily Day last Satur­day.

Or­gan­is­ers were over­whelmed by the huge turnout for the in­au­gu­ral Kids’ Fash­ions on the Field at the Kar­ratha Signs Fam­ily Day at Roe­bourne Race­course last Satur­day.

The con­test at­tracted eight boys and more than 50 girls dressed their best for the races.

Lily Ber­tolini, 12, won the girls’ divi­sion and Ethan Wood-Hill, nine, won the boys’ sec­tion.
