The Karratha and Districts Chamber of Commerce and Industry Business Bootcamp will be held on July 27 at the Karratha Leisureplex.

KDCCI chief executive John Lally said experts would present inspiring backgrounds and business hacks tailored to the audience.

“With family-friendly hours and short, punchy presentations, the boot camp will provide attendees with a prescriptive solution on how to power up their marketing and sales activity,” he said.

Speakers will include Beechworth Bakery founder Tom O’Toole, best known for creating one of Australia’s most successful standalone retail bakery businesses, which now employs more than 250 staff with a turnover in excess of $17 million and serving more than 1 million customers per year.

Tim Reid is also set to feature and is the host of The Small Business Big Marketing Show podcast and author of The Boomerang Effect.

Cath Sutherland is a dynamic Perth businesswoman who began her career as a creative director for radio stations throughout Australia and later worked in events, public relations and national marketing management. In 2000, she established her Perth-based consultancy, now Conscious Business, which specialises in helping businesses become more conscious of who they are, and to understand how “being” who they are, is the key to their business success.

Nina Hobson has been one of six finalists of her category in the Telstra Women’s Business Awards and her company was also a finalist in the small business category of the Telstra Business Awards.

As a private investigator, she has been asked for opinions and expert advice on managing personal and corporate security.
