Riders give sport a try

Each year BMX Australia holds a national sign on-day at tracks around Australia to provide an opportunity for people to come and try BMX for free.

The Karratha BMX Club was one of the clubs that ran the sign-on day, with more than 100 riders heading to the local track to join in the fun. In conjunction with the event, BMX Australia ran a national bring-a-mate competition encouraging registered riders to bring a friend to try the sport.

The Karratha BMX Club won two prizes as a result of this.

The Azzopardi, Swaffer and Warren families won some BMX Australia clothing packs.

The club races are hosted on Friday nights from 7pm.
