Regional Development Minister Alannah MacTiernan has indicated she would like to move the Northern Beef Futures project team to the North West. It is currently based in Bunbury.

You can stop allowing sales of Australian land to overseas buyers while you're at it! Agriculture is the way forward for Australia, that’s why China and the like are spending up big time! Michael King

She wants to change a lot of things and a large percentage of her changes are without any common sense or good for the state and costing millions to run. Desmond Broad

What right does MacTiernan have to comment on or change private companies’ business models? Craig Colliver

The potential cost of tickets for flights between Pilbara towns, Exmouth and Broome was revealed last week. Karratha to Hedland and Onslow to Exmouth were the cheapest flights at $199 one way.

Yes a joke when we could fly with Airnorth Karratha to Darwin for $300 and on special for $214. You must be on a different planet. Got to be kidding, you can go same distance up the east coast for less This doesn’t help at all with these kind of prices. Gail Squires

I would not support this in Karratha at all. This is a private,

for-profit company. Ratepayers will not benefit from this installation, yet they are the ones who are required to financially back it. The local governments up here need to get back to basics and quit acting like venture capitalists and real estate investors. Catherine Wall

Ripped off again. Well they’re not going to last long. Way cheaper to drive. Annette Farinaccio
