Stick­men se­cure top po­si­tion

Stick­men have ce­mented them­selves on the top of the Kar­ratha and Dis­tricts Eight Ball As­so­ci­a­tion lad­der with a good win over Mon­grels.

Sev­eral good games were played in round 3 of the sum­mer com­pe­ti­tion, with a close match be­tween Stick­men and Mon­grels the high­light.

In a re­play of the win­ter com­pe­ti­tion grand fi­nal, Stick­men started the bet­ter, win­ning the first round 3-2 and Mon­grels replied 3-2 to go into the last round even.

Un­like the grand fi­nal, this time it was Stick­men who showed the re­solve and went on to win 9-6, drop­ping just one game in the last round.

War­riors are the only other un­beaten side and sit in sec­ond po­si­tion af­ter they eas­ily ac­counted for Pu­n­ish­ers, 11-4, like­wise Rec­a­holics dom­i­nated the match, 11-4, against Ball Break­ers, who failed to back up their great form from the pre­vi­ous week when
