More than 15 women en­joyed a week­end of re­lax­ation, yoga, med­i­ta­tion, art and na­ture in the beau­ti­ful sur­rounds of his­tor­i­cal town Cos­sack at the in­au­gu­ral God­dess Re­treat Oc­to­ber 12-15.

The re­treat was con­ceived by The Space cre­ative director Cass Doyle, who wanted to bring women to­gether to cel­e­brate and re­joice in all things art, na­ture, nour­ish­ment and yoga.

Through­out the week­end, the women par­tic­i­pated in daily yoga and med­i­ta­tion ses­sions led by Ms Doyle, art and craft ses­sions and na­ture walks.

Par­tic­i­pants made man­dalas un­der the guid­ance of Kiah Twelftree from Ma­ma­tree.

Jac Ni­cholls from Cracker Jack Pad­dle­sports took the women on a na­ture walk and led pad­dle­board­ing ses­sions through the Cos­sack creeks and beaches.

Peo­ple at the re­treat also en­joyed a de­li­cious se­lec­tion of veg­e­tar­ian, gluten-free, dairy-free foods pro­vided by Beth Corps.

The re­treat was hailed a great suc­cess by event or­gan­is­ers.
