Re­spects paid to Viet­nam Vets

THE rain held off long enough for the an­nual Viet­nam Vets Com­mem­o­ra­tive Ser­vice at Man­durah Memo­rial last week in front of a big crowd.

The ser­vice in­cluded an im­pres­sive ad­dress by school stu­dent and Army cadet Imari Morris.

The Aus­tralian and New Zealand na­tional an­thems were sung by Sin­gle­ton Pri­mary School Choir.

A sin­gle Hawk Lead-in fighter air­craft roared across the sky to pay re­spects af­ter 10am. Man­durah-Mur­ray sub-branch of the Na­tional Ser­vice­mens As­soc. A bag­pipe player leads the pa­rade of vet­er­ans into the ser­vice.
