AUDITIONS are being held for the cheeky comedy Ladies Night at Rockingham Theatre Company.

Written by Stephen Sinclair and Anthony McCarten, Ladies Night tells the story of four unemployed guys who get motivated by The Chippendales to form a male stripping act and make some fast cash to cover their debts.

They talk Bernie, a local club owner, into letting them perform in the club.

Meanwhile, they take dancing and “movement” lessons from Glenda, a slightly “shop-worn” exotic dancer.

The cast required is seven men and one woman, ages 25 and up.

No full frontal nudity is required, but men (apart from two) must be prepared to strip and show their bare bottoms in the play.

The audition will feature reading excerpts from the script, learning a few basic moves and a trial strip. Auditions are at Rockingham Theatre on Wednesday, August 30 at 7.30pm and the play goes on in November.

Further information from Alison on 0417 717 520. The production will run in November.
