Five generations celebrate together
AMARA Kimberley Wilson’s family calls her a miracle baby.
Her mother Vernicia Wilson was in a wheelchair for much of her pregnancy following an accident last New Year’s Eve and Amara also arrived in time to make Halls Head resident Sylvia Mason (95) a great great grandmother.
Two week-old Amara is the latest in a line of first born girls and timed her arrival for Father’s Day.
Sylvia Mason is a resident of Mercy Place in Halls Head and her husband Joe was well known in Mandurah and something of a legend in the Lions Club.
He was also the final runner over the old traffic bridge in the 2000 Olympic Torch Relay.
Amara Kimberly’s mother is Vernicia (24), her grandmother is Kym-Anne Keeler (50), her great grandmother is Marilyn Mason (71) and her great grandmother is Sylvia Mason.
