Five gen­er­a­tions cel­e­brate to­gether

AMARA Kim­ber­ley Wil­son’s fam­ily calls her a mir­a­cle baby.

Her mother Ver­ni­cia Wil­son was in a wheel­chair for much of her preg­nancy fol­low­ing an ac­ci­dent last New Year’s Eve and Amara also ar­rived in time to make Halls Head res­i­dent Sylvia Ma­son (95) a great great grand­mother.

Two week-old Amara is the lat­est in a line of first born girls and timed her ar­rival for Fa­ther’s Day.

Sylvia Ma­son is a res­i­dent of Mercy Place in Halls Head and her hus­band Joe was well known in Man­durah and some­thing of a leg­end in the Lions Club.

He was also the fi­nal run­ner over the old traf­fic bridge in the 2000 Olympic Torch Re­lay.

Amara Kim­berly’s mother is Ver­ni­cia (24), her grand­mother is Kym-Anne Keeler (50), her great grand­mother is Mar­i­lyn Ma­son (71) and her great grand­mother is Sylvia Ma­son.
