WINE, beer, cheese and art pro­vide a draw­card com­bi­na­tion when Port Bou­vard Re­cre­ation and Sport­ing Club hosts a Sun­day af­ter­noon soiree on Novem­ber 12.

Wine from three winer­ies, beer and cider tast­ing, along with a cheese ta­ble and an auc­tion of more than 30 art works from the club’s Fri­day Girls paint­ing group, will help raise funds for the Heart Foun­da­tion.

The tast­ings start at 2pm and the auc­tion at 3pm.

Artist Carolyn Thomas will do­nate her paint­ing View Above Tal­bot Bay in the Kim­ber­ley to the auc­tion in aid of the Heart Foun­da­tion.

The soiree runs from 2pm to 5.30pm, with the tast­ings at 2pm and the auc­tion at 3pm.

Tick­ets cost $10 a head from the club of­fice or on the door.

The club of­fers a range of View Above Tal­bert Bay ac­tiv­i­ties in­clud­ing bowls, tennis, cro­quet, arts and crafts. It has more than 500 mem­bers.
