Crash driver charged
MAJOR Crash officers have charged a 19-year-old Barragup man after an investigation into a fatal crash in Secret Harbour last month.
The crash occurred at 6.30pm on Secret Harbour Boulevard on Friday, October 6.
Police allege a silver Toyota Supra sedan was travelling east along Secret Harbour Boulevard when it crashed into a tree.
Callum Mummery (16), who was travelling in the back, and 17-year-old Mason Hooton, travelling in the front, both died from the injuries they received. A 16year-old boy who was travelling in the back of the car received serious injuries.
The 19-year-old man has been charged with two counts of dangerous driving occasioning death and one of dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm.
He will appear in Mandurah Magistrates Court on November 28.
