Pinjarra Murray Times - - STREET WATCH - - Assistant Commissioner Craig Ward

Police and community groups will be working together to maximise the safety and security of about 8000 school leavers this month. There will be Leavers Entertainment Zones at Dunsborough and Rottnest for safe and positive environments, and non-profit group Red Frogs will again provide support. This year, there is an app – www.faceswa2017/ – for both parents and leavers. For the safety of other leavers and the public, police will not tolerate anti-social behaviour and drink or drug-affected driving. We, with hundreds of volunteers, work hard to provide a safe celebration for leavers after their hard work at school. We ask leavers to look out for themselves and their friends, be respectful and behave appropriately. Parents are encouraged to talk with their children and encourage them to stay safe.
