THIS WA Day, The Mak­ers will once again host a free WA Day Fes­ti­val, rep­re­sent­ing the best of WA cul­ture. The eastern foreshore will be at the cen­tre of the ac­tion on Mon­day, June 4, with a va­ri­ety of en­ter­tain­ment in­clud­ing some of Man­durah’s finest young mu­si­cians. The fes­ti­val will run from 2-7pm, burst­ing at the seams with free ac­tiv­i­ties for the whole fam­ily, in­clud­ing in­ter­ac­tive work­shops, Ja­panese taiko drum­ming per­for­mances, Chi­nese lion dance, an In­dige­nous cor­ro­boree and more. Vis­i­tors can browse the suit­case mar­kets and Tiny Shop of Wheels of­fer­ing a choice of hand­made goods. A range of gourmet food trucks will dish up food from all over the world and there will be an in­ter­ac­tive wildlife ex­pe­ri­ence, along with salsa and Bollywood danc­ing demon­stra­tions.
