The Shire of Murray adopts new brand­ing lo­gos to help mar­ket tourism in Pin­jarra and Dwellingup.

THE Shire of Murray has adopted new brand­ing lo­gos for Pin­jarra and Dwellingup to fur­ther de­velop mar­ket­ing of the two towns.

Fund­ing was al­lo­cated in last year’s bud­get to de­velop a brand­ing strat­egy and, af­ter work­shops and com­mu­nity con­sul­ta­tion, a pre­ferred op­tion for each town was selected and adopted.

Ac­cord­ing to a coun­cil report, well-branded towns strength­ened po­si­tion­ing, prod­uct de­vel­op­ment and mar­ket­ing ef­forts to in­crease in­vest­ment in Pin­jarra and Dwellingup.

The brand­ing would fur­ther help es­tab­lish a district brand and other town brands.

In­creased in­vest­ment and vis­i­ta­tion would re­sult in more sus­tain­able, fi­nan­cially vi­able, thriv­ing towns with in­creased com­mu­nity ser­vices, im­proved op­por­tu­ni­ties and rev­enue for busi­ness.
