Cheap and Dodgy Productions have concocted an extravaganza of downmarket comedy for their Christmas show.
WELCOME aboard Cheap and Dodgy’s European Vacation.
Mandurah’s own Cheap and Dodgy Productions’ David Templeman and Carole Dhu have concocted an extravaganza of down-market comedy and entertainment for this year’s annual Christmas show at Mandurah Performing Arts Centre.
The Cheap and Dodgy crew have cashed in on the lucrative cruise market and launch their Cheap and Dodgy Tours aboard Farse Cruises.
This year, with an inept crew, questionable passengers and a very dodgy boat, the Cheap and Dodgy crew take the audience on a memorably erratic cruise down Europe’s most polluted rivers, sewerage canals and stagnant pools.
Guided by an incompetent skipper, patrons experience a cruise they will never forget.
Be entertained by Roger U Thoroughly (Geri Jones), activities co-ordinator Cynthia Barrington-Smyth (Carole Dhu), head steward Lance Boil (David Templeman) and a galaxy of fading stars as they duck and weave through the backwaters of Europe.
Following an extremely erratic and illogical route through the European wastelands, Farse Cruises experiences a series of disasters and near misses.
The boat bashes into a jetty in Vienna and guests are treated to a special performance by the Von Crapp Family Singers.
“Maria Von Crapp introduces her seven children, born to seven different fathers, for a somewhat Austrian experience,’’ Boil said. “We are not kidding when we say this is a Crapp performance.’’
Tickets cost $20 or $15 for children on 9550 390 or online.
