Po­lice probe Dawesville crash

PO­LICE are in­ves­ti­gat­ing a crash in Dawesville last Thurs­day that left three teenagers se­ri­ously in­jured, with one of them fight­ing for life in hos­pi­tal.

About 8.30am, a white Honda Civic was trav­el­ling along Dawesville Road when the driver lost con­trol of the car near Ewing Street.

The car then struck a tree and a 14-year-old girl who was a pas­sen­ger re­ceived life-threat­en­ing in­juries. She was flown to Royal Perth Hos­pi­tal by the RAC Res­cue he­li­copter.

The 16-year-old male driver re­ceived se­ri­ous in­juries and was taken by am­bu­lance to Royal Perth Hos­pi­tal.

An­other 14-year-old girl who was the front pas­sen­ger in the car also re­ceived se­ri­ous in­juries and was taken to Peel Health Cam­pus.
