Nadine punching Chloe! More jumping than you could shake Nathan Drake’s ruined hamstrings at!
There’s tension in the alliance between Frazer and Ross, something the E3 trailer goes to great pains to stress as it shows the pair scouring the cities of the Hoysala Empire in search of the mystic Tusk Of Ganesha. Yet the ladies are going to have to work together if they’re to survive the death-defying climbing, breathless shootouts, and a sinisterly soft-spoken warmonger by the name of Asav. And to think Uncharted used to be so light-hearted when the boys were in charge.
The most interesting footage to emerge from E3 is undoubtedly a teasing shot of what Chloe sarcastically refers to as, “downtown Halebidu”. In reality, she’s talking about a sprawling stretch of rainforest peppered with ancient Indian temples, not some bustling city square. The sheer scale of this area immediately reminds us of Uncharted 4’s Twelve Towers mission – the one that had Nate and co driving about yawning Madagascan plains in a jeep. Clearly, The Lost Legacy isn’t skimping on spectacle, and if Naughty Dog can construct a drum-tight four-hour adventure, Frazer and Ross could be PlayStation 4’s greatest DLC to date.
