The last straw
I have subscribed before to the magazine and was going to do again, and I know opinions are opinions but nothing should be so way off that it stinks of garbage.
The review of The Last Jedi, a film that all film fans know was absolute garbage of a film, whether you’re a Star Wars fan or not, to have in some media outlets only say it’s a brilliant film is a complete joke and makes the magazine look a complete joke with the review from Jordan Farley who at a guess must be in his 20s and love watching fairy tales and Mary Poppins, nothing against Mary Poppins if that’s the film you are expecting to watch. The review is an insult to people who know how bad this film is and reflects on the magazine. Opinions for reviews should tell [the] truth or at least show both sides as to be balanced. Darren Price via email No review will please everyone, though admittedly we expect the games ones to cause the controversy (shall we bring up the 5/10 we gave the BAFTA-award-winning Hellblade?). But as long as our reviewers make it clear why they do or don’t like something, we respect their opinions. Jordan explained he liked the introduction of moral shades of grey into the previously binary good/evil Star Wars universe. Clearly it’s a film that provokes strong opinions, though the main arguments in the office are about whether it’s better or worse than Rogue One.
THE BIGGEST STUMBLING BLOCK TO VR… [IS] THE FACT THE BOX DOESN’T SUPPORT 4K TO PASS THROUGH IT.
