Star letter The cable why

PlayStation Official Magazine (UK) - - REPLIES -

To me the biggest stumbling block to PS VR being a PS4 Pro owner isn’t that the game line up is sketchy, it’s the fact the box doesn’t support 4K to pass through it. So I’m at a constant battle between if I can bothered to unplug the HDMI cables that are tidy behind the telly only to reverse the procedure after I’ve had my fill of VR. Any ideas if Sony are going to release the Mk2 breakout box as a separate purchase for the original owners who have been the guinea pigs since day one? Graham Knapp via email We’ve still got the original PS VR setup in the office, so we’re familiar with the swapping. As far as we know, there are no plans to release the new model breakout box as a standalone item – those of us with original PS VR headsets and a PS4 Pro will have to choose between swapping cables, or upgrading our kit.
