Bash rolls into Port

MORE than 400 Va­ri­ety Bash­ers will roll into Port Dou­glas to­mor­row, wrap­ping up the 21st an­nual Va­ri­ety Queens­land ’Port to Port Bash’. The nine-day coast crawl has seen more than 100 ve­hi­cles trek up the coast from SeaWorld on the Gold Coast to their fi­nal des­ti­na­tion at Rex Smeal Park. The Bash will wrap up with a con­cert of Neil Di­a­mond’s hits. Each ve­hi­cle en­ter­ing the Bash has raised a min­i­mum of $7,500 as a do­na­tion to Va­ri­ety Queens­land.
