Freezing Melbourne family fun

WE GOT here last Tuesday. We’re here for 10 days. We’ve just been swimming a lot back at the resort, the Sheraton Mirage, and we’ve been coming out to lunch in town.
The Sheraton is beautiful, everything is en masse, and the food and facilities are great.
It’s a beautiful place to do nothing and sit on the couch.
We went to the Wildlife Habitat today and plan to go out to the reef and possibly will go to Hartley’s Crocodile Farm.
At the Habitat the girls loved seeing a joey in its mother’s pouch, crocodiles, and feeding and patting the animals.
The reef will probably be up there with the best part of the trip.
We’re thinking of going with Quicksilver because of the pontoon, we’ve heard it’s good for the kids.
Hopefully they can have a snorkelling lesson before they get in for the first time.
We’ve been here once before, seven years ago, when Sara was just a baby.
The reason we came back is just the weather. It’s the best place to come and relax and enjoy some sun.
The idea is to sit by the pool and watch the girls swim.
It’s not school holidays at the moment but this time really suited us so we pulled the girls out of school.
They’re happy about not having to wear beanies and mittens like their friends. I remember the last time we came here it was very hot and you were limited in what you could do, I think it was earlier in the year. But the weather has been great this time.
There’s not really anything we haven’t liked, the locals are super-friendly and even the tourists are friendly. It makes it a good holiday because everyone is happy to be here. We would absolutely come back.
