Police use capsicum srapy on offender
POLICE used capsicum spray to subdue a man who allegedly resisted arrest in a violent manner on Saturday. The 26-year-old Kewarra Beach man was being arrested for public nuisance on Macrossan St when he allegedly shoved a police officer and had to be restrained. He was charged with public nuisance, obstructing police and assaulting police. He was taken to a Cairns watch house and is due to face court at a later date.
