Julatten family day success

Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - NEWS -

WHAT a great day we had at the Nine Mile Roadhouse last Sunday.

The inaugural community fun day was held, the sun was shining, people were dancing and kids were having a great time.

The staff and management committee would like to thank the many people who helped make this a fantastic event.

There were many who helped with the setting up and packing down, Sing Australia came and performed some of their repertoire, the P&C for the Julatten Primary School who kept everyone supplied with delicious sausages, the guys who worked the bar and kept the beer flowing and the tireless staff and parents who kept the children entertained.

Mark and Sue Hadley deserve a special mention for all the help and support they gave and Peter Clark and David for their wonderful music and we can’t forget Heike and Marcel from the Wallaroo Fruit Plantation for donating delicious organic bananas for our one armed banana bandit eating competition.

If we have forgotten anyone please know that we truly appreciate everyone’s help and support.

Look out for photos appearing on the Julatten Community Website over the next couple of weeks at www.julatten. qld.au.
