AFTER waiting with bated breath, some 10 years ago, for Coles to open I have consistently shopped there, by preference, ever since.
I have never ever had a problem with meat purchases and never once had anything off, including meat or indeed any other products.
Perhaps the letter writer ( Gazette, Aug 12) has a problem with storage & refrigeration, and should possibly test the fridge
temperature, especially here in this climate and also check the “use by” date on any purchases, and sensibly, use by that date.
The staff are always friendly, courteous and helpful, even at this extremely busy time in “the season” and now I await the new extensions to the store, so we will be able choose from a larger range of products from Coles, to tempt our tastebuds.
