A 28-year-old Vic­to­rian man was ar­rested at 12.30am on the morn­ing of Fri­day, Oc­to­ber 29 for wil­ful dam­age and uri­nat­ing in Macrossan Street in Port Dou­glas. The man threw three chairs at the plate glass win­dows of a lo­cal li­censed premise, which cracked the glass. The man was taken to Cairns and ap­peared in the Cairns Mag­is­trate Court on Fri­day morn­ing. He was fined $1000 and or­dered to pay $650 resti­tu­tion. yelling abu­sive com­ments to peo­ple on the street and had kicked a num­ber of bins. He was trans­ferred to the Moss­man Po­lice Sta­tion and will ap­pear in the Moss­man Mag­is­trate Court on the 24th of Novem­ber.
