MY AMERICAN girlfriend did her internship at the Cape Tribulation Tropical Research Station about five years ago. I arrived there with my American girlfriend (who was going to stay at the station) and my canoe. Hugh was in the lab and he told me to go canoeing and come back later.
Then at the start of this year I moved up here permanently from Port Douglas. I more or less believe in what Hugh’s doing up here. I’ve always done revegetation work and I decided to spend the rest of my days planting trees under beautiful Mt Sorrow. Why wouldn’t you?
