Rugby jnrs raid rivals
THE junior Raiders at home saw the under 10s battle out another hard game and just miss out on a win.
The boys had a great time in the wet conditions and showed their skills as they learn more about rugby union.
The under 12s were up against the third-ranked Barron Trinity, who were out to take second position on the ladder.
The Raiders had other ideas and showed Barron Trinity who was boss on the night with a much-improved performance over last week.
Their support play on the field and the power of the forwards had Barron trembling, while their great passing, handling and speed in the back line finished off Barron.
The 26-0 scorelines showed the Raiders can play as well in the wet as the dry.
The under 14s had to win their semi final to have a chance at the final.
With highs and lows in the game, most of the boys pulled together and dominated the field but could not finish off the opposition. They ended up losing a close game.
Full credit to the boys who played a good game.
The Raiders play away next week and then the finals are on December 3 at Mann St.
