Good cop or bad cop?

Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - FEEDBACK -

I WOULD like to express my concern regarding a minor traffic infringement ticket I received on Sunday in Craiglie.

The ticket I accept and will pay without hesitation, but the manner in which it was served was inappropriate.

The officer was arrogant, disrespectful and made a comment that was uncalled for.

Having been a police officer I know how officers should treat the public.

In a small town like Port Douglas where police need community support and on occasion may need us to assist them in their duties it is imperative to have a good repoire.

I am sure the majority of police in the area are friendly and fair in their duties but it only takes one to give law enforcement a bad name. Heath Melton Port Douglas
