Lucky motorist walks away from rollover
A LOCAL motorist is lucky to be alive after losing control in the rain on the Captain Cook Highway, crashing into an embankment and rolling the vehicle. The 51-year-old Newell Beach man lost control of the vehicle on a bend 900m north of Rex Lookout at 3.40pm on March 1. He walked away uninjured but had to climb out of his vehicle which was extensively damaged. Police are urging motorists to be careful driving in wet weather.
