Last chance to become a Maestro Chef
TIME is running out to stake your claim to become a Maestro Chef.
Entries for the Gazette/harrisons restaurant Maestro Chef competition close tomorrow which still leaves plenty of time to cook up a recipe to impress harrisons owner and head chef Spencer Patrick.
Five kitchen whizzes will join Spencer and his team in the Harrisons kitchen as they transform their simple recipes into delightful dishes to rival the best restaurants in the land.
On the menu for the Maestro Chef dinner will be a soup, a fish dish, a meat dish, a salad dish and a dessert.
All you have to do to be in the running for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is simply fill in the coupon on page 13 and send us your recipe which fits the menu criteria.
You can send in a recipe for as many dishes as you like with your coupon.
The five winning Maestro Chefs will spend an afternoon with Spencer perfecting their chosen recipes before joining him in the kitchen in their own embroidered chef’s outfit to prepare the dish for the degustation banquet on the night of March 1.
The Maestro Chefs and a friend will also be the guests of honour at the gala banquet.
For those who are not so handy in the kitchen but still want to savour the delicious food and atmosphere at the banquet, the Gazette and Harrisons also have five double passes to give away, valued at $160.
All you have to do to be in with a chance to win the double pass is simply fill in a coupon and drop it into the Gazette or harrisons.
