BOWLERS were cut short on their game this week­end with the rain.

Win­ners of the day were awarded to John Hock­ing and visi­tor John Blain with a plus 11 score.

Daryl Mi­son, Graham Belton and Bill Barn­abas won run­ners up with plus eight.

Bowlers who are in­ter­ested in the men’s pen­nant side need to con­firm their avail­abil­ity as this even is com­ing up shortly.

Nom­i­na­tions can go on the sheet which is on the board.

The cham­pi­onship draw will be out next week­end and the jack­pot bowls are next Satur­day.

Ladies com­peted in the Mona Car­son Day last Thurs­day where bowlers en­joyed a great day of bowls.

The win­ners of the day were awarded to C Mayted, E Drourke, M Tucker and B May who was also the lucky raf­fle win­ner.

Run­ners up were C Bolton, K Dean and R Petrus. Third place was awarded to M Cop­per, M Mc­Clel­land and J Bry­lack.

The en­cour­age­ment award went to G. Sharpe, C. Hol­loway, V Franzi and M Crees. Bowlers are gear­ing up for the cham­pion fours to be played on March 17.

M Crees’ team will verse R Petrus’ team, J Brly­ack’s team will verse K McDon­ald’s team and J Gard’s team has the bye.
