Laugh off tough times

Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - FEEDBACK -

IT’S during the tough times you know how truly lucky we are to be Australians.

It’s when our willingness to endure hardships and get on with it really stands out.

It’s also a time when meeting with friends and having a laugh becomes doubly important.

So, whether you are a local or a visitor to our region, the Port Douglas Football Club would like to invite you to rock up to our "Something Tropical" function to be held in the club rooms at the football ground on Saturday, April 2, beginning at 7.30pm.

The only requirements are that you wear something Hawaiian and be ready to enjoy yourself.

Entry is free. “It’s fantastic. It is a really good idea because it gives people somewhere to go. People can meet down there and have a social time together by the pool their kids.”

“It’s good, I think it’s going to force people to use the headland. Any project like this is good for the community.”
