THE Port Douglas branch of the Country Women’s Association was also honoured at the recent Women of Douglas unveiling.

The Gazette reported earlier this month that the Mossman branch of the CWA was one of six local organisations or inspirational women to have a room at the Port Douglas Community Hall named in their honour.

The Port Douglas CWA branch - which has been a part of the community for more than 80 years - was honoured alongside the Mossman branch at the unveiling.
